This week the Beefbois dive into two recent releases, A Simple Favour (2018) and Ladies in Black (2018). Stay tuned to find out which is worth your while, and which would be better jettisoned into the void of space.

The Beefbois have crash-landed into an unspecified South American jungle, armed only with their wits - oh, and a gatling gun. Don your singlets, grease up your biceps, and join Andrew & Oscar as they fire thousands of metaphorical rounds of blanks out into the airwaves.
And, when it's all over, you can stick around for some more classic beef-chat, this week covering eighties classic Predator (1987) and modern day re-imagining The Predator (2018).Facebook: http://facebook.com/beefstationpodEmail Us: beefstationpod@gmail.com

This week, beefstronauts Oscar and Andrew get into a fight over whether or not there are cardinal directions in space as they get stuck into two Western films. I normally prefer a tagliatelle Western but we couldn't find any, so instead we settled with one of the most well-known spaghetti Westerns, Sergio Leone's The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (1966) and compare it to a classic John Wayne Western, The Searchers (1956), the movie that inspired much of Star Wars: A New Hope.
🎶 Some people call us the space cowboys... 🎶

This week, your humble beefbois broaden their horizons with a couple of great new films you may have missed - You Were Never Really Here (2018) and Thoroughbreds (2018).
Also featured in this ep: more “news” about the new Bond movie, an implicit endorsement of piracy, and overuse of the phrase “into the weeds”.

In an episode that will be extremely painful...for you... Beefbois Oscar and Andrew explore the formidable catalogue of ten-time Oscar winner, VFX pioneer, Titanic-scale-replica-set-builder, and Marinas trench exploring submarining Hollywood director, Christopher Nolan. Focusing predominantly on The Prestige (2006), the Dark Knight Trilogy (2005-2012), and Nolan's documentary on the Beef Station journey, Interstellar (2014). Your interpid explorers spend ten minutes discussing their favourite choice cuts from the catalogue before delving into a seventy minute argument over whether or not the spinning top at the end of Inception is Marion Cotillard's buttplug or not.

This week, your two remarkably Caucasian beefbois Oscar and Andrew (the other, other white meats) don their underqualification helmets to journey into Spike Lee's brilliant BlacKkKlansman (2018). Andrew also relays what he saw at the Melbourne Interstellar Film Festival last month when he got sucked into the gravitational field of a way cooler city. On the surface mere minutes passed; but up on Beef Station, Oscar was waiting long enough to figure out how to hack into Alec Baldwin's twitter and turn down a role in the new Joker movie. Coincidentally that also only took a few minutes because the password was "let me state for the record that I have NOT been hired to play a role in Todd Phillips' Joker as some Donald Trump manque".

Our talent ain't the only thing that gets completely wasted on this podcast as Beefbois Oscar and Andrew present a particularly loose episode that looks at Shrek (2001) and Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001). Recorded aboard the Event Horizon, Oscar was forcefully committed to the Station's brigfirmary in order to stop him screaming about Grogers while attempting to tear out his own eyes. Beam us up some Berocca, for the love of God.
